The work begins on walls, and the first paintings use wall materials: wood glue, façade paint, sand, and water poured onto OSB board, with a single hard shape laid over them, or none at all. In Dimensional Cuts, the pour moves to acrylic and meets a taped edge and black geometric signs. In Interweaving, on paper, flat planes cut loose gradients into form for the first time.
The sequence runs from fields that carry little more than their own depth to a single flat band laid over the mass, and finally to a black disc. The series was shown as a solo exhibition at U.K. Parobrod, Belgrade, in 2016.
