In 2018, a 210 × 600 cm canvas was worked on a wall with a roller, brush, and spray, then cut up; the pieces were stretched and finished in the following years. Much of this group comes from that one field. Enclosures holds its material inside a contour; Dimensional Interweaving steps the contour like a plan; in Reserves the figure is an untouched field, only its surround painted; in Transmutation the cut stroke becomes a body hovering on its own shadow.

The strokes are laid with a builder's trowel or a drafting rule, then cut back with flat colour. Across the sequence the cut material becomes a body: first it gains sides, then a single drawn edge, then full perspective and its own shadow.
